2. WILLIAM ROBERT QUAYLE (WILLIAM1) was born in 1857, and died after 1939. He married ANNABELLA CAMPBELL COOK 25 January 1889 in 47 Crawford Street, Greenock (Free Church of Scotland), daughter of ANGUS COOK and MARGARET BAXTER. Annabella was born 1866, and died sometime before 1939. In 1889 William Robert lived at 47 Crawford Street, Greenock, Scotland, and at the time of his marriage to Annabella he worked as a Ship Rigger.Annabella was at the time living with her parents at 35 Crawford Street, Greenock, Scotland and possibly had a sister Elizabeth

Generation No. 3 3. DUNCAN QUAYLE (WILLIAM ROBERT2, WILLIAM1) was born 31 August 1903 in 40 Blackburn Street, Govan, Glasgow, and baptised on 1 November 1903, Kinning Park, United Free Church. He married MARY ADELAIDE THERESA WILSON 15 September 1939 in Cathcart Old Parish Church, Manse, Glasgow, daughter of JOHN WILSON and MARY HUXTABLE. She was born 9 February 1906 in 28 Oran Street, Maryhill, Glasgow, and died 30 September 1974 in Victoria Infirmary Glasgow, being subsequently buried in October 1974. Duncan died 7 September 1993 in Crookston Home for the Elderly, Glasgow and subsequently buried in Crookston Crematorium In 1939, Duncan was living in 74 Maryland Gardens, Glasgow. and Mary was with her parents at 32 Harelant Avenue, Glasgow. At time of marriage, Duncan's profession was given as "House Furnishers Salesman" and was residing at 74 Maryland Gardens, Glasgow. Witnesses to the wedding were Mary Inglis Walker of 53 North Park Street, Glasgow & Thomas Pringle Sinclair of 39 Carleith Quadrant At the time of his retirement Duncan had become the Office Manager at his employers.
